MODERN ANCIENT BROWN FOUNDATION HEADQUARTERS

Located outside of West Village in Detroit, a church and rectory are the first buildings being revitalized within a much larger community development strategy. Partners’ assisted McArthur Binion in realizing his headquarters within the attic space of the rectory. This space was designed to be a lived-work area for the “artist in residence” program and provides a full bedroom suite, kitchenette and private bathroom. Partners’ was able to retain or restore most of the existing hardware and floors while providing a much needed update to existing services.
